Try this easy and delicious homemade version of some popular bars I like.
I’ve kicked them up a notch with a few extra ingredients. Let me know what you think!
3 cups dates (pitted)
3 tbsp (or more) or your favourite nut/seed butter
2 handfuls of nuts/seeds
1/4 cup of shredded coconut
1/4 cup of dairy free chocolate chips (optional)
Blend or chop all the ingredients together and form into bars or balls. Use a food processor if you can. I used my vitamin in the video but the mixture was quite hard on it, so I suggest using a food processor instead. Add rolled oats if you want to make them less sweet. Experiment by adding different ingredients like cinnamon, shredded ginger or pumpkin spice. A favourite of mine is lemon zest!
