I stumbled upon a vegan bakery the other day and thought I would treat myself to some cookies (which is rare) and support the biz. I paid $5 bucks for 2 small cookies. They were SO sweet and left me feeling groggy and tired the next morning. Sugar hangover.
That’s why I wanted to share this recipe with you guys. It’s easy, relatively healthy and really delicious. Better yet there is no sugar added (minus the chocolate chips) and they are very cheap to make. (more…)
With the colder weather upon us, its nice to have comfort food around. One thing I miss having around is granola. The stuff that is sold in stores just doesn’t cut it for me.. it’s high in processed sugar and, if you are lucky, might have some dried fruit or seeds added to it, but we all know they never add enough, or it all sinks to the bottom.
